What is Q-Dir?
Q-Dir is a multi-pane explorer of files that offers users for a quadro-view. In other words, users can view four separate Windows Explorers. While viewing, the standard Explorer remains. In addition, this software also offers a file management functions which include quick access to favorite file and folder, color coded file filters, customizable layouts and columns, and so on. Users can also export files to .html, .txt, .csv, and .doc file formats. Furthermore, it supports all Explorer views, provides support for all networks as well as color themes among others.
Similar to Windows Explorer, Q-Dir is a portable freeware file and folder manager. Users are offered with full support for drag-and-drop, quick access to oft-frequented folders, and moving files from different "Q-Views." The "Q-Views" also supports browsing files in file archives like ZIP. In addition, views and actions to XLS, HTML, Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, and text files can be exported. For more added features, Q-Dir also integrates functions like having quick links in new tabs via middle mouse button, clipboard viewer, and color filter, Open Folders via Folder menu, and disabled transparent selection (at W7/Vista) via Menu/Extras/List-View.
