Protector Suite

If you are looking for Protector Suite, you have come to the right place. We explain what Protector Suite is and point you to the official download.

What is Protector Suite?

Protector Suite is software that usually ships with various fingerprint scanners, as well as laptop and desktop models. The purpose of the program is to provide users with a fingerprint reader. Users log-in to access their system, files or programs using biometrics technology; in this case, via fingerprint identification.

The program can be set to execute upon system boot-up via the BIOS option. Enabling this option will require a fingerprint scan before the Operating System launches. Alternatively, the user also has the option to complete system boot-up first before supplying the fingerprint “password.” If a computer has multiple users, each user is required to supply their own fingerprint scan in order to successfully log-on to Windows.

Protector Suite also provides a “safe” where the user can store all of their important files. When My Safe is first accessed, the user will need to supply a fingerprint scan as well as an 8-character password, which could be alphanumeric. User may use more than 8 characters for the password, but may not go below the 8-character minimum requirement.
