What is PlayerPlus?

Player Plus is a plug-in for Windows Media Player developed by BM-productions, and offered for free. The plug-in provides additional features for the player. For instance, the Party Shuffle option allows the player to randomly pick out songs stored in the player’s library, and adds these to the current playlist.

The plug-in also enables the user to open the Explorer menu for the media file directly from the player. Other additional features include display of the currently playing track on the player’s title bar, stop or close player after currently playing track has ended, play or pause the player by pressing the space bar, and restore last active track or playlist. In case of a player malfunction or crash, the plug-ins can be instantly enabled again.

Also included are Tag Editor Plus, which allows the user to add tags to the track and edit album art; Global Hotkeys for controlling the player from any open window, and support for Unicode.

Windows Media Player Plus is compatible with Windows Media Player versions 11 and 12.
