PingPlotter Standard

If you are looking for PingPlotter Standard, you have come to the right place. We explain what PingPlotter Standard is and point you to the official download.

What is PingPlotter Standard?

PingPlotter is a tool mainly used by network analysts, engineers, and other professions in the IT field in order to monitor and troubleshoot network quality, particularly “ping” or latency. Unlike the separate tools and commands used on a Windows computer that require users to memorize commands they are not familiar with, PingPlotter has nearly all the tools necessary to diagnose networks such as pinging, trace routes, and his functions. Most users consider PingPlotter’s GUI presentation, particularly its graphs, to be more intuitive and more comprehensive than the text-only display of Windows’ built-in tools (as commands in the command prompt), as PingPlotter also provides a graphic representation of a problem in the network. PingPlotter is offered in three editions: the baseline free edition, for non-commercial purposes, the paid Standard with additional features, and the premium Pro version which has all the features of the Standard but with beefier capabilities, targeted to IT professionals.

PingPlotter also takes advantage of multiple threads to check redundancies and increase performance, which the software claims is much faster than a standard trace route “tracert” command in Windows. The graphs displayed this way can be manipulated (zoomed, resized, etc to find the data the user needs) and hosts can be graphed over time.
