If you are looking for PID SErver, you have come to the right place. We explain what PID SErver is and point you to the official download.
What is PID SErver?
The PID Server is a utility for PC users who want a way to perform auto-tuning on their proportional-integral-derivative controllers from Unitronics. The particular Unitronics devices that are compatible with the software are the controllers from the M90/91 and Vision lines. Users can run PID Server to auto-tune those controllers even without running U90 or VisiLogic (the software bundles associated with those Unitronics products and in which PID Server is typically found as an “extra” but separate utility).
PID Server’s auto-tuning capabilities work by cutting off the programmable logic controller’s PID function for a time: just how long that time would be is dependent on the actual auto-tuning process it performs. After auto-tuning has been performed in the device’s PID loop, the program turns the device’s PID function back on. Users should remember, however, that for this automated tuning to take place, several conditions must be satisfied. For instance, the device that is being tuned obviously needs to be connected first to the computer running the PID Server software. Second, that software’s parameters and the device’s PID function should be linked to the same operands.
