PaperPort

If you are looking for PaperPort, you have come to the right place. We explain what PaperPort is and point you to the official download.

What is PaperPort?

PaperPort, developed by Nuance Communications, is an all-in-one document managing application used to integrate the three leading formats in offices and businesses – paper, PDFs, and other word-processed documents. With PaperPort, you can organize, sort andmanage your entire library of documents and compile them for easier searching and indexing, and it can use its powerful PDF creation tools to facilitate this task. You can also use PaperPort and its newest versions to share these documents on the network or optionally on a cloud-based storage, and the documents imported and saved by PaperPort can also be easily viewed and accessed on tablets and other mobile devices using iOS and Android. You can also scan, print, and share all from the PaperPort interface, and its OCR ability enables a searchable PDF file when generated.

PaperPort is a shareware application – meaning it can be downloaded and tried for free, but after a certain amount of time must be purchased. There are several editions of the software, but two of these are the Professional (which costs $199) and the Personal edition (which costs $99). The main difference between these editions is that the Professional one includes the ability to generate PDF documents, although they share about the same capabilities and features.
