If you are looking for pando, you have come to the right place. We explain what pando is and point you to the official download.
What is pando?
Pando is a software program from Pando Networks that allows the user to send or share files via the Internet. This is a file sharing program that enables the user to send large files of up to 1 GB over the Internet, through three different ways: via email, Web or Instant Messaging service.
It functions as a peer-to-peer file sharing program that connects users to the Pando servers, which processes the files to be shared and transports these to the recipients via a link that will enable them to download the files from their computers.
The software supports audio, video and image files; and once the user has sent these files through the Pando servers, the recipient can open the links and download the files without the sender having to be online. If the files are to be sent via email, the recipient will get an email from Pando that contains a link to the file; via IM, a pop-up window will appear that contains a code for the download link. The sender will copy and paste the link to the recipient’s IM window and the recipient can open the link to download the file.
Web-share is enabled through an embedded code which will also be given via a pop-up window and the sender can copy-paste the code onto the Web page.
This software has been deprecated for years.
