Pageburst is a digital replacement for traditional educational textbooks, specifically for health science students. The program is available in 2 main platform possibilities for users: VitalSource and Kno. Both have the same core features, but they do have differences, one of which is that the Kno platform can only be accessed on Windows by users of Windows RT, Windows 7 and Windows 8 (it is compatible with nearly all web browsers, the iPad and Android devices, though). The Kno version also supports print page replication, which the VitalSource version does not, even if the latter permits easy page resizing.
Using either version of Pageburst, a user can purchase books (often for much lower prices than printed versions, since the printing costs drive up textbook prices) and read them on a compatible device. The program also holds other educational material, such as the student’s notes and interactive reviewing tools for users to quiz themselves with. Other content for facilitating learning and data retention is also bundled into the package. Furthermore, there are social learning utilities such as note subscription, e.g. a user can subscribe to a professor’s notes in order to get ready access to data from the experts.
Our users primarily use Pageburst to open these file types:
File.org aims to be the go-to resource for file type- and related software information. We spend countless hours researching various file formats and software that can open, convert, create or otherwise work with those files.
If you have additional information about which types of files Pageburst can process, please do get in touch - we would love hearing from you.
