What is p7mViewer?

p7mViewer 4.5 displays the contents of smime.p7m files, and other files that are encrypted or signed in the S/MIME standards. It also gives access to encrypted or signed email messages in web-based email clients, encrypted email attachments, signed documents, and secure file archives. General features include being able to display content of smime.p7m files and S/MIME messages. It extracts attachments, verifies and displays message security. It also integrates with Windows shell, Windows address book support, CryptoAPI-based access to cryptographic devices and software. Smartcard support through CSP requires software that is supplied by a smartcard manufacturer and Windows Environment integration. The newest version may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
