OpenLP

If you are looking for OpenLP, you have come to the right place. We explain what OpenLP is and point you to the official download.

What is OpenLP?

OpenLP is an application used for managing audio-visual presentations for use in worship settings. It provides users with the ability to work with several predesigned themes for various visual elements, including background opacity settings and font styles. There is also a Service Manager within the program that allows users to navigate between and edit Service items as desired, with annotation capabilities for all items. Users can add items to the manager too with simple drag and drop.

The software has an Alerts function. Users can also add the plugin for song management, which will let them import songs for use during a service, as well as tag verses. It can perform batch importing for situations where a lot of audio files are to be used during a worship scenario and also gives users the power to edit both parts of and whole songs as necessary. There is also a Bible plugin, a media plugin that handles video and audio file importing as well as playback, a control module for images, and integration with several presentation programs so that the user can open a presentation during the service.
