What is OkMap?

OkMap is a comprehensive solution for GPS mapping and navigation: simply put, the program can create, open, edit and save maps. The software’s map creation abilities cover 2 map types, which would be the raster map and the vector map. The user can select from between the two, and then proceed by using the program’s extensive map drawing tools. It has a wizard to guide the user along in this process.

Besides map creation, it can also act as a viewer, being able to import and open raster, vector and hybrid map types. It can even open 3D raster maps. Furthermore, it allows users to make annotations on maps opened using the software, from tags to comments. It can display and manage GPX data too.

The program is able to communicate as well with most GPS devices, which can be used as sources for maps or data. It has navigation features, grid display capabilities, and the ability to show altitude/elevation data. Users can also integrate it with Google’s map services. It comes in more than 7 languages, including English and uses its navigational features with any GPS gadget that supports the NMEA 0183 specification.
