What is NXT Programming?

The NXT Intelligent Brick's menu can create simple programs. Complicated programs can be downloaded using a USB port. The user can also copy files by connecting two NXT bricks wirelessly, with some mobile phones serving as remote controls. Up to three NXT bricks can communicate at the same time using Bluetooth. The kit's retail version can run on Microsoft and Mac computers.

This software is based on National Instruments LabVIEW. It also provides a visual programming language for writing programs and downloading them to the NXT Brick. They can use the flowchart to design the program, rather than requiring users to write lines of code.
