The Nord Sound Manager is a program that lets users of Nord instruments manage their devices’ memory banks. Using the program (and an appropriate connective cable for linking their Nord instrument and computers), users can transfer program files as well as sound files to their instruments: these can be sounds from the Nord Sample Library, Nord Piano Library, or even user-made, custom sounds generated through the Nord Sample Editor. This translates to virtually unlimited possibilities for Nord instruments’ sound banks, giving users maximum flexibility in exercising their musical skills.
The Nord Sound Manager can be used to organize users’ sound files as well. Program files as well as sounds can be moved, renamed, re-associated, and so on. This can help users better tailor their machines to play the way they want them to. Sounds can also be deleted to make space for new ones, and the program helps to minimize the chances of accidental deletion of critical sound files by informing users what programs are associated with the sound he is about to delete. The software also has the ability to create backups of sound files as well as Nord instrument settings for the purpose of system restoration.
Our users primarily use Nord Sound Manager to open these file types:
File.org aims to be the go-to resource for file type- and related software information. We spend countless hours researching various file formats and software that can open, convert, create or otherwise work with those files.
If you have additional information about which types of files Nord Sound Manager can process, please do get in touch - we would love hearing from you.
