What is NifSkope?
NifSkope is a program that authorizes the viewing and editing of NIF files. Users may also explore the content of the files and manage them using this program. Specific properties of NIF files can also be manipulated by adding translucency or modifying the general texture of the files. Users may also view the files in 3D format. Templates can also be created using this software.
Once installed, the file shortcut can be seen directly on the desktop. All menus can be seen then once the icons clicked and one of the main functionalities is the 3D view option. When file is chosen, it will still be loaded as .nif file .The manipulation can be executed using the Render menu. You will be prompted to drag the buttons you wish to use.
With the use of QWEASD keys, you will be able to change the position and move the model in different angles,. You can start rendering once you have reached the angle you prefer. You can save the settings so you can return to it.
NifSkope also lets its users to conduct a Walk mode to initiate movement. This can also be manually controlled using WASD keys.
