NetPlayer

If you are looking for NetPlayer, you have come to the right place. We explain what NetPlayer is and point you to the official download.

What is NetPlayer?

The NetPlayer is a program used to open files containing recordings of sessions using the Netviewer application. Netviewer itself is a program used to facilitate screen transfers across 2 or more computers and users. Another way of looking at the application is to consider it as a desktop or program sharing utility, one typically used in service or support situations where one user is having trouble with his system or an app on his system and needs someone to assist him. The Netviewer application solves this problem by allowing users to share their screens with each other for demonstrative troubleshooting and diagnostic assistance. It is part of the CitrixGoToAssist package from SAP.

NetPlayer comes into the picture when a user needs to open a recorded Netviewer session. Netviewer sessions are saved in a proprietary format with the NVL extension. Netplayer is not only capable of opening files in that format but is also equipped with the tools for carrying out conversion of those files into ASF format files. While viewing files on Netviewer, a user can also copy the media to the Clipboard and can export the file wherever he wants.
