If you are looking for NetLogo, you have come to the right place. We explain what NetLogo is and point you to the official download.

What is NetLogo?

NetLogo is a programmable modeling environment for students, teachers, and researchers which also powers HubNet participatory simulations. It is used for simulating natural and social phenomena. Instructions are given to agents operating independently in order to explore the connection between the micro-level behavior and macro level patterns from their interaction.

This software enables students to explore behaviors under various circumstances and author an environment to create their own models. It also provides extensive documentation and tutorials, and a model library which addresses content areas in the natural and social sciences.

Through networked computers, NetLogo can power HubNet which served as a classroom participatory simulation. NetLogo is downloadable for free and supports cross platforms: Mac, Windows, and Linux. It has approachable syntax, and uses Logo dialect to support agents. Large vocabularies of built-in primitives are present.
