If you are looking for NBS Specifier, you have come to the right place. We explain what NBS Specifier is and point you to the official download.
What is NBS Specifier?
NBS Specifier is a suite of specification software programs from RIBA Enterprises, developed for the construction industry. The specification programs provide building designers, engineers, and architects with various utilities to help them with the design process.
There are five main programs included in the suite: NBS Create, NBS Building, NBS Landscape, NBS Scheduler, and NBS Domestic Specification. NBS plug-ins are also provided by the developers, to extend the functionality of their programs.
Each of these programs has its own unique features, allowing the user to choose software based on their exact specifications and requirements. NBS Create is one the newer programs developed by RIBA Enterprises. This software allows the user to create an outline for their project specs, and then add details and categories as the design process progresses.
NBS Building on the other hand, provides the user with a set of ready-to-use specs clauses, general conditions and requirements, which they can utilize for their projects. The templates are fully editable, allowing the user to input their own specifications for each project type.
These programs are available on a subscription basis. General requirements include Internet Explorer 7, Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0, and Windows Operating System.
