What is MyDVD?
MyDVD is a program from Roxio that functions as a DVD authoring utility. The software is equipped with a series of applications that enables the user to make their own home movies, and burn these in DVD format.
To begin with, the software includes video editing tools that can be used to edit both standard and High Definition video. Apart from effects that can be applied to the videos, the program also provides adjustment tools for modifying color, contrast and brightness; plus, video rotation any which way the user chooses.
The user is provided with templates that generally already include buttons, background audio and sub-menu layout. These elements can be modified, allowing the user to customize the template based on how they want their movie to appear.
In addition to editing tools, the program also provides 2D to 3D converter, and a file format converter. The format converter allows the user to convert a video downloaded from the Internet into a format that is compatible with their mobile device.
MyDVD can run on Windows 7, Vista Service Pack 2 and XP Service Pack 3.
