What is Muse?

Adobe Muse CC is a website designer with special functionalities for quickly creating fully mobile-ready websites, easy social media site linking to Web pages, SEO applications, and add-ons from Creative Cloud. Muse has all the basic elements needed to design pages for the Web, from sitemap creation utilities to cross-browser coding for optimal compatibility. The program also features an asset manager for keeping tabs on content like images and an automated image optimizer. It also allows users to create test websites before final publication through Adobe’s hosting service-this feature is particularly useful to those who are building sites for others as a business and who want client input on the sites before making them public.

Muse has adopted more and more features with every release. For instance, Release 2 gave it automatically generated navigation and improved FTP site exporting while Release 3 brought on tools for mobile site layouts. The latest edition has added the ability to edit or update a site straight from the browser, customizability in the workspace and a revamp to the interface and operation that brings it closer to classic Adobe products.
