MultiPar

If you are looking for MultiPar, you have come to the right place. We explain what MultiPar is and point you to the official download.

What is MultiPar?

MultiPar is a program for those who want to use PAR technology—PAR refers to any of the generations of parity archive tech, which is useful for those who want to perform such operations as checksum verifications or corruption repair. While the original stated intention for developing this system was to improve Usenet file sharing dependability, it has since become a go-to program for all sorts of data protection and recovery operations that deal with the safeguarding or salvation of data from bit rot and similarly damaging forms of digital data corruption.

MultiPar can thus be used for such purposes. It also supplies users with some useful ancillary features that make data safeguarding and recovery easier: Unicode support, for instance, as well as batch scripting capabilities. The program also generates smaller recovery files than most of its counterparts and supplies users the ability to view files and folders in a directory tree for quick navigation. MultiPar is compatible solely with Windows operating systems and is usable at no cost. However, since it was originally designed for x86 architectures, assuring optimal operation on x64 systems will require the user to set the OS to run on compatibility mode first.
