The Multitech Cover Page Generator is a utility that can be found in one of the company’s products: the FaxFinder, which is a fax server. The Cover Page Generator is therefore not a product to be purchased separately from the company but one that comes with one of Multitech’s actual products.
The Cover Page Generator is accessible through the FaxFinder Fax Client Software through the “Edit Cover Page Template” command under the “Edit” button on the main program’s toolbar. Selecting that option will bring up the Page Generator, which is really just an editing program that lets the user modify cover page templates or create entirely new cover page styles for faxes.
The editor allows users to add the following objects to their cover pages: images, static text, field text, hilites, lines, rectangles, ellipses, and filled objects. It also allows users to create templates that have automated entries, e.g. the Sender field, which is automatically filled in with the sender’s name when faxing. Users can preview their finished covers on the screen and can also print them. However, Multitech has advised that users print their covers for testing on the (also-included) Tiff Viewer instead of Cover Page Generator itself.
