What is Metrino.Osa.StandardOsa?
EXFO is a company that offers solutions for the maintenance, installation, management, and development of IPs and mobile networks. It is a provider of next-generation service assurance solutions found inside the global telecom industry. They do this by providing answers for both wireline and wireless network operators and equipment manufacturers. Their software, known as the Optical Spectrum Analyzer (OSA) can analyze EDFA, drifts, DFB lasers, spectral transmittance, and WDMs all thanks to its flexibility.
WDM-Aware has a clever set-up and analysis on a per-channel basis. It is also based on network configuration, bit rate, and modulation schemes that are experienced by the lambda (ROADM filters, etc.) This software allows users to acquire all of the DWDM results as well as manual-specific info with up to four markers. They no longer have to experience the hassle of toggling through pages in order to do a complete analysis. Users can control the OSA right away with a complete WDM mode and an SCPI command set. The unit can also print PDF reports, making it easier to convert them into an email-friendly format. It also has an on-graph peak detection threshold.
