If you are looking for Map Maker Pro, you have come to the right place. We explain what Map Maker Pro is and point you to the official download.
What is Map Maker Pro?
The Map Maker Pro is a cartographic application capable of generating both vector and raster graphics. While it is a Geographical Information Systems application or a GIS program, it boasts a much friendlier learning curve when it comes to operation, sporting a user-friendly interface as well as straightforward-if-rich controls.
Users can import data into it from various applications—from CAD software, for instance, for its graphic elements; from GPS devices in order to record routes, points of interest, and the like; or even from Access and Excel spreadsheets for map info linking (to databases). Data export to programs falling into the CAD or GIS category is possible too. The program’s advanced visual functions support perspective views in 3D, and users can also print their work in high quality and accuracy. Lines, fills, and other visual elements can be user-defined and customized.
The Map Maker Pro software is actually the premium version of Map Maker’s Gratis edition, which is available for free. Both applications are meant to be used on Windows computing environments, ideally ones that use the operating system Windows XP and the Windows versions coming after it, including 7 and 8.
