What is Magic Desktop?
Magic Desktop is a computer-based playground for kids that is managed with parental control. It is a pre-installed program that is available on most HP computers including HP Pavilion notebooks and PCs, HP Touch Smart and Compaq Presario notebooks and PCs. To use the program, click on the Magic Desktop icon on your desktop or go to Start menu on Windows 7. Choose All Programs. Select EasyBits Magic Desktop.
No Homework No Play lets you change settings based on how your kids use the programs. They can either earn points or spend them. You can add points for good behavior outside of computer activities. Parental Control comes with the patented Security Shield to protect your system. You can access the parental features with the master password. Your kids will be able to access Websites that you have approved that can be saved in the Kids Favorite section for your kids to easily locate them.
E-mail received from unknown sender that is not in the address book will be blocked and placed in the Quaratine folder and can be accessed only with the master password. Kids use Magic Mail to send and receive E-mail to contacts you have approved. The master password is needed to return to Windows. The program encourages learning through activities including Easy Learning, Easy Write and My First Music. Fun applications include Easy Paint, Detective Bob, Find a Match, Puzzle King, Talking Parrot, Gamepad games, Book Holder, Books & Comics and Desktop Themes.
