What is LoiLoScope?

LoiLoScope is software that allows the user to edit videos. The program was designed by Japanese software development company, LoiLo Inc. The developers based their design on video gaming technology, as their background is in the gaming industry.

The program utilizes the graphics processing unit for their video editing technology. The user is able to capture videos from their digital cameras, and edit a variety of video formats including AVCHD (Advanced Video Coding High Definition), MP4 (digital multimedia) and MOV (QuickTime multimedia).

Edited videos can be exported to various formats as well, such as AVI, F4V, and 3GP, MTS, WAV and AAC; on top of MOV and MP4. In addition, output files can be uploaded to YouTube and Facebook. The software may likewise be utilized for converting video files into formats that are compatible with portable devices like iPad, iPod Touch, iPhone, PSP, PS3 and mobile phones capable of playing 3G files.

Storyboard and Timeline views are provided for easy editing. Users can trim video clips, edit audio from the videos, modify video size and apply transition effects.
