If you are looking for Livedrive, you have come to the right place. We explain what Livedrive is and point you to the official download.
What is Livedrive?
Livedrive is a cloud-based backup application and service. One of the most noteworthy features of the service is that users get unlimited online backup, combined with 2 terabytes’ worth of cloud storage.
There are 3 flavors of the service that are available. The lowest-priced one is the Backup option, sold to Mac and PC users, and equipped with features such as remote file viewing from any location at any time (through the Web) and assurance of security through heavily guarded data centers. The middle-range option is called Briefcase, and allows file syncing through any device as well as simplified file sharing. Files on this option can also be edited straight from the user’s web browser, and can be uploaded directly to a social network.
The premium option of Livedrive is the Pro Suite. Up to 5 computers can use its unlimited online backup facilities; WebDav, FTP and SFTP technologies are opened; and users get priority service. All three versions get access to customer support, however, and also allow direct-from-Livedrive media streaming. Furthermore, users can always restored deleted files on all of the versions, for data safety.
