What is List Works?
FUJITSU’s List Works is a document management solution with online features. The basic idea behind it, of course, is much like that of other document management software marketed to corporate users: to reduce human error, time and labor costs in paperwork processing. List Works belongs to the category of applications purporting to reduce paper usage in the office by supplying a fully digital environment for corporate documents and files.
The program manages multiple-tier storage for documents too, giving users access to only those documents they need or have a right to see. Access permissions can be set by the managers of the system. It has multi-server support, allowing rapidly growing companies to easily extend their system’s capabilities once the time comes for server expansion. Operation efficiency is maximized by permitting automated document delivery as well as printing, and operation logs are taken so that top-level users can easily check to see if data is going where it is supposed to and nowhere else. Print management features are also packed into it, with print errors logged and opening up opportunities to have documents printed at other connected locations.
