LBA is a Laser Beam Analyzer program developed by Ophir-Spiricon. The software provides the user with a set of advanced applications that enable them to analyze beam shapes for their laser applications, where the structures of the beam shapes can be subjected to in-depth analysis to enable the user to determine the required demands for each laser system.
There are several versions of the software: LBA-FW (for FireWire Camera), LBA-USB, and LBA-PC (for Framegrabber Card and Pyrocam III). Generally, LBA systems come with a camera. In the event that the camera gets broken or lost, a replacement camera can be purchased through the manufacturer’s website.
Minimum system requirements for the software are IBM-compatible PC, 2 GHz dual core processor, 2G RAM, and 256 MB graphics card. The LBA systems from Ophir-Spiricon are only compatible with the cameras that are included with the purchase of the software. The program will not run with any other external camera. The software is able to create 3D visualizations of the beam that is being analyzed, allowing for rich graphics rendering of the beam in full camera resolution.
File.org aims to be the go-to resource for file type- and related software information. We spend countless hours researching various file formats and software that can open, convert, create or otherwise work with those files.
If you have additional information about which types of files LBA can process, please do get in touch - we would love hearing from you.
