What is KZod?
KZod is a modern dictionary software that is used for e-dictionaries and e-encyclopedia. This software was created with the aim of collecting plenty of comprehensive e-dictionaries, mainly Lithuanian ones. It can use MOVA, DICT and SLOWO dictionaries and connect to the internet DICT dictionaries server. The KZod software also has its cell-phone counterpart and is compatible to most phones which are java-enabled.
This software supports multiple languages which include German, Italian, Russian, French and Polish aside from Lithuanian and English. In addition, it has Lithuanian and world history dates, countries, names, measures, data about famous people, and PC and geographical terms. With the KZod software, the user is also allowed to create new groups and records, change fonts and enable clipboard live monitoring and import or remove and create dictionaries. This software uses an interface that is well-organized and simple.
This open-source software is compatible with operating systems such as Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP. It also uses little system and CPU memory, and although its response time is not as quick as users want it to be, there have been no reports of pop up error dialogues, hanging and or crashing incidents.
