ISOpen

If you are looking for ISOpen, you have come to the right place. We explain what ISOpen is and point you to the official download.

What is ISOpen?

ISOpen is an all-around program for dealing with disk image files (ISO-extension files). ISO-extension files are not the only ones the program can deal with, though: it can also work with BINs, CUEs, MDFs and NRGs. The software is able to create files using these formats and thus serves as a handy solution for disk or media backup, and is capable of creating backup files for just about every data type. It also functions as a disk image file opener and editor. In other words, it can open an existing disk image file—a BIN file, for example—and let the user extract or read the data saved within that file. More importantly, it also lets the user make alterations to the actual file’s contents, so users can keep their backup files up to date.

The program has a burning feature for those who want to store their backup files on disc storage media and is also able to perform basic audio conversion (a common requirement for those looking to back up audio discs). It is a Windows program and available at no cost to the user.
