What is HyperSnap-DX?

HyperSnap is a content capture program that is capable of capturing both images and editable text from computer screens. While the description makes it seem simple, it is in fact more powerful than most would realize: not only can it capture text that can be edited or entered straight into word processing software from screens, but it can also capture certain types of spreadsheet data to copy directly into a spreadsheet application. It can also capture entire Web pages that surpass the size of the user’s screen: the program can simply be set to image-capture the whole webpage, and then it scrolls over the webpage automatically to ensure that all parts of the page are captured.

The program allows a high degree of automation: it can be set to save captures as image files instantly, it can be set to replace one color for another within a captured image, it can be set to perform a repetitive task by itself, and it can even be set to copy all captured images to a specific file or location. It can be used as a viewer for captured graphics and is also equipped with some annotation and editing controls.
