What is HTML Help Workshop?
The HTML Help components, which consist of an Active X control or Java Applet to insert into HTML files, a help authoring tool, an online image editing tool, and an executable program that displays a user’s help files. It has an authoring guide with sections on how to design a help system, and how to use HTML Help Workshop. References that contain info about the HTML Help ActiveX control, an HTML Help API reference for developers, a complete HTML tag reference, and reusable help topics that explain how to use the Help Viewer. Users can use the HTML Help Workshop to create Help topics that provide information, as well as assistance, specific to their organization.
The user can integrate topics with the Microsoft Office XP Help system, or combine them with custom Answer Wizard databases to create a complete assistance solution. The HTML Help Workshop must be installed separately from the other applications – It is not installed by the Office Resource Kit Setup Program. System requirements include setting up Microsoft Internet Explorer (version 3.0 or later) on the computer, before using HTML Help.
