What is HO_CADpao?
HO_CADpao is a computer-aided drawing program available only in Japanese and designed for general-purpose 2D drafting. The first version was first launched in 1998 and was developed continuously until 2005, at which time the developer decided to create the second version and focus development on that instead.
As a CAD program, HO_CADpao is designed to run cleanly on most computing environments because it tends to minimize system stress through minimal resource usage. It is compatible with DOS systems, and is designed to run on computers using the Windows operating system, particularly Windows XP, Windows 2000 and Windows Vista. The latest version has been tested several times on Windows 7 as well and has been confirmed to run without any hitches on that operating system. There has yet to be word on its compatibility with Windows 8, however.
The program has multiple drawing and painting tools and can calculate coordinate values. It can also store a drawing and the coordinate values associated with that drawing on the same file. Users can create hyperlinks within their creations on the software. Users new to the program can learn how to use it through tutorials provided by the developer.
