What is Hercules MediaStation II?
Hercules MediaStation II is software that is generally included with the installation CD that comes with Gamesurround Muse sound cards manufactured by Guillemot Corporation, the same company that developed the Hercules MediaStation II software.
The software is not one of the drivers of the sound card, and instead, it functions as a media player, where users are able to watch videos or listen to their audio tracks directly on the computer. The player’s main function however, is to enable users to listen to their music files on the computer. It also serves as an audio mixer and recorder, supporting a variety of audio formats.
Also, users can view their image files using the Hercules MediaStation II player, plus they are also given the option to create a slide presentation of their photos complete with audio background.
Minimum system requirements include Windows Operating System, Intel Pentium MMX 233MHz or AMD K6, PCI 2.1 slot, and 32 MB of RAM space. An optical disc player, whether built-in or attached to the computer, is also required to be able to run the installation CD.
