What is Guentner Product Calculator?

Guentner Product Calculator (GPC) is software that is utilized for thermodynamic calculation. To start calculating, the user will first need to select a unit or coil. When the program is accessed, the user is presented with a user interface which contains the options that are provided with the software.

Under the File menu tab, the user can select New Unit, which will then open a menu that provides the user with unit options: Evaporator (dry), Evaporator (pump), Aircooler (coolant), Drycooler, and condenser.

When a unit has been selected, another dialog box will appear. This time, the user will have to choose between two options: Find Capacity and Give Fix Capacity. Before the program can start calculating for the capacity, the user will be required to input a capacity in kW.

Each unit has its own input fields. For instance, for the Evaporator (dry) unit, the input fields are evaporation temperature, condensation temperature, sub-cooling temperature, and super-heating temperature.

The program is available in two languages: English and Spanish. Guentner Product Calculator is freeware that is compatible with the later versions of Windows (XP, Vista and 7).
