If you are looking for Glink Professional, you have come to the right place. We explain what Glink Professional is and point you to the official download.

What is Glink Professional?

Glink Professional is a software program developed by Gallagher & Robertson for Windows users. The program functions as a terminal emulator, which basically means that the Windows computer where the software is installed will be made to appear like another terminal, generally an older terminal so that the user can access legacy programs. The software supports Telnet, Rlogin, TNVIP, TN3270E and TN5250.

All Glink software including Glink Professional, installs an icon on the desktop. Certain functions of the software can be executed from the command line interface. In addition, certain functions may also be executed through keyboard shortcuts. For instance, pressing Alt + V launches the Capture ASCII Data function of the software, while Alt + F8 launches the call timer function.

Ctrl + C or Ctrl + Ins meanwhile opens the Edit/Copy option of the software, Ctrl + X or Shift + Del launches the Edit/Cut option, and Ctrl + Z opens the Edit/Undo option. Ctrl + Z is a standard Windows command utilized by the software.

Other versions of the software include Glink for iPad/iPhone, Glink for Java, GlinkMobile, and GlinkWeb.
