If you are looking for FlashFXP, you have come to the right place. We explain what FlashFXP is and point you to the official download.
What is FlashFXP?
FlashFXP functions mainly as a proprietary FTP client designed on a simple Graphic User Interface that is Windows-based. It is capable of supporting server-to-server transfer sand well as client-to-server shifting of files. It supports both SSH File Transfer Protocol and Secure Copy platform. It was initially developed by IniCom Networks. In 2008, this FTP client platform became a part of Opensight Software, LLC. To date, there have been 4 different versions of this FTP client platform.
FlashFXP has several functionalities including an automated Backup Setting. Files transferred from one server to another are automatically backed up so as to ensure recovery in case of any unexpected system crash. The system equipped with the software can also be restored to its original setting if deemed necessary by the user. It supports IPv6 as well as SFTP. It is also capable of supporting firewalls and proxy servers while decreasing the system vulnerability.
FlashFXP also comes with its own Site Manager that is capable of importing exporting using XML. File editing can be performed by the user remotely and uploading can be prompted automatically. Another automated functionality is its ‘saving’ feature. File transfers can also be integrated with automated e-mail notification.
