What is Finale SongWriter?
Finale SongWriter is a utility capable of creating and printing sheet music. It enables users to easily move things around, add measures, and change keys as compared to how paper and pencil works in writing a song. The software has several features which include sheet music that plays back. Users can listen to results of creating songs at the same time entering refinements with the use of Finale SongWriter’s music notation. In addition, users can just choose what instrument to use so that the software can manage how the staff plays back while transposing.
Creating notations can be done through the MIDI keyboard in the Finale Songwriter software or simply in the computer’s keyboard and mouse. Users can also create music in collaboration with others who uses different software since Finale SongWriter supports other software like Finale Allegro and Finale PrintMusic. In addition, importing MIDI and MusicXML files created by other products is made possible.
Aside from the realistic playback, Finale SongWriter also offers users a creative inspiration and instrument sounds as well as instrument suggestions.
