What is FileFort Backup?
FileFort Backup is a backup utility developed by NCH Software. Compatible with Windows and Mac, the program enables users to create backups of their important files, so that should the system break down, they have a copy of their critical files.
The user is given freehand when it comes to selecting files to backup: from documents to media files, and emails. The user can backup entire folders of their documents, videos, music and photos; or select specific files only.
Backups can be stored in several ways; via USB flash stick, USB external hard drive, optical disc or network drive. It may also be stored in Google Drive, FTP server, Amazon S3 or Dropbox. With the USB option, the user is provided with an automatic save-to-USB utility so that when the device is inserted into the USB port, the program automatically backs up the files selected by the user.
The user can create backups manually, or configure the program to automatically run backups at scheduled intervals. FileFort Backup is compatible with Windows XP, Vista and 7; and Mac OS X 10.3 or higher.
