FastCAD

If you are looking for FastCAD, you have come to the right place. We explain what FastCAD is and point you to the official download.

What is FastCAD?

FastCAD is a computer graphics designing program capable of producing full-fledged 2D and 3D professional graphics on Windows systems. It is distributed by Evolution Computing and in its latest iteration leverages a buffering technique that has given it quick redraws capabilities (40 times faster than the previous edition). Polygon-work in 3D, multiple drawing and 24-bit color projects are all possible. Overlaid graphics can be created using the program, which uses the x86 programming language. The program allows workplanes to be determined by the user as well.

The software can be purchased online and is also available to users on a trial basis for 14 days—after that, purchase and registration are required to continue using the program. Users who do purchase it are guaranteed free access to all program updates for approximately a year by Evolution Computing. The software is extensible and there are various plug-ins that can be added to it for improved rendering.

The native file format for graphics made using the program has the FCW extension. These files can be opened on several other CAD programs, such as the IMSI TurboCAD software, for instance.
