If you are looking for ERwin Application, you have come to the right place. We explain what ERwin Application is and point you to the official download.
What is ERwin Application?
ERwin is a data modeling program created by Logic Works for businesses to use in managing their data assets. It is a collaborative and data-sharing system, so multiple users can use it as their central database for such information as business processes, rules of procedure, core definitions, and the like. As a solution for minimizing the presence of unnecessary complexity in corporate data systems, it allows users to create both logical and physical data models, transform logical data into physical data, create SQL DDL scripts, engineer both progressively and regressively, and visualize all data resources in graphical models through an intuitive UI. It also accepts data coming from more than one source, such as relational data sources and Cloud sources, for example. Furthermore, it has tools for comparison and merging operations.
There are 5 versions of the software. There are the Standard Edition, the Navigator Edition, the Workgroup Edition, the Microsoft SQL Azure edition, and the Community Edition. The Community Edition is free and offers the essential data modeling functions, but with a limit of only 25 model objects. All the editions are designed for Windows.
