Envoy
If you are looking for Envoy, you have come to the right place. We explain what Envoy is and point you to the official download.
What is Envoy?
Envoy is a software product from Novell that functions as a document publisher. The software basically enables the user to publish digital documents to allow for viewing of such documents via Internet protocol.
When an electronic document is exported to Envoy format, it is embedded with a document viewer to allow the user to immediately view the file online, without need for any other external software, application or plug-in. This means that Envoy ships with two applications, a document publisher and a document viewer.
The document viewer can also be installed as a standalone product. This allows the user to view an Envoy-published document offline. It is also able to view Envoy documents without restrictions to specific document-creation software. This means that the user can view Envoy files no matter what program or application was utilized to create the document.
The software is also cross-platform, which means that the user can publish documents in the Envoy format regardless of operating system. The default file extension of an Envoy document is EXE.
