What is EarMaster Pro?

The EarMaster Pro is a tool that can improve ear training and sight-singing exams. It is designed to meet the needs of music students, music teachers, as well as professional musicians and hobby musicians. EarMaster contains exercises in identifying intervals, chords, chord inversions, scales and modes. Exercises in transcribing melodies and rhythms are also available.

The EarMaster contains two tutorials that will help the user increase the level of complexity as it improves his ears. The Standard Tutor consists of 440 lessons ranging from beginner to advanced users. The Jazz tutor has 211 lessons with jazz chords and swing rhythms. There is also a Help file in case the user needs an answer to some queries. There is also a choice between learning on a guitar or a piano. The user can select one of the many tutorials along the top of the screen, and listen to some examples. EarMaster tutorials can also teach rhythms, scales, and notes. MIDI keyboards and microphones can be plugged for more realistic tutorials and voice training.
