What is DVDStyler?

DVDStyler is free software developed by Alex Thuring that provides the user with a program for burning DVD videos. The program supports videos and audio files created in different formats, which include DTS, Musepack, STR (Sony PlayStation format), raw videos, VC-1, WAV, AVI, DV, FLAC, PCM, AC3, ASF, AVS, Apple Core Audio, H.261, H.264, MJPEG, MPEG-4, QuickTime, MPEG-1, OGG, RealMedia, Matroska, H.263, TrueAudio, WMV, MP3 and FLV.

The program allows the user to have full control on the creation of DVD menu, which means that the user is enabled to design the menu. Users can position buttons, texts and graphics on any area on the interactive menu. On the other hand, the program also includes ready-made menu templates that the user can utilize.

Users are likewise able to add multiple subtitles, include several audio clips, burn videos and audio of different formats in a single DVD. To create a project, the user can add files through drag and drop mode.

DVDStyler is open source software distributed under the GNU GPL v2 license. It is a cross-platform program available in English and German.
