What is DVDInfoPro?

DVDInfoPro is a program that lets users access detailed and precise information on DVD drives and discs. Perhaps the typical user of the program would be a system administrator checking a drive, disc playing device or disc burning device. Using the program, for instance, a user can learn immediately after analysis, whether or not a drive supports CD-R writing, CD method 2 writing, S.M.A.R.T. technology, Microcode upgrading, AACS authentication, Buffer underun, and so on. The program also displays the model and brand of the drive or device in question, its serial number, buffer size, and volume levels. All the information can be exported, whether in a text file format or an image file format. It also has a special function that lets users doesn't only collect info from discs, but also creates backup image files on that particular disc.

There are two versions of DVDInfo, and InfoPro, obviously, is the premium version: its main difference from the free edition is that it doesn't embed ads. The free version, being free, is supported by ad revenue. It is compatible with Windows 7, Windows XP SP2, and Windows Vista.
