DVD Slideshow is a small multimedia application by Arcsoft that can allow a user to create and design a slideshow and save it on a DVD format (or on a computer for later viewing and/or burning). DVD Slideshow has been discontinued and its features incorporated into other Arcsoft products. A slideshow, which is usually seen in a PowerPoint presentation, is a sequential series of images, either raw or edited, and whose transition can also be controlled into having different effects.
With DVD Slideshow, users can important videos, photos, and even PowerPoint presentation files, with support for a bevy of image formats and common video formats (such as AVI, MOV, MPEG, and others; MPV playback is also supported). The images can be edited as well, such as color enhancement, cropping or resizing, addition of text and captions, and text settings, and the slides can be edited with various themes, music or audio, and transitions. DVD Slideshow also adds pan and zoom effect to slides.
