DVD Profiler can manage any size collection. It has a data collection, filtering and reporting features that are specific to a DVD, and unique to DVD Profiler. The user can just enter the UPC from the DVD case, and DVD Profiler does the rest. If the user has a DVD-ROM drive, then it is much easier. He can put the DVD into the drive, and let DVD Profiler recognize it automatically. It has a search and filter function which can let the user find what he is looking for, fast. He can also browse the collection by actor or director through a filmography that is customized to his collection.
DVD Profiler’s complete and customizable reporting engine lets the user take his collection from the computer to the office, to the coffee table in style. The user can build a database of users who can borrow, or simply watch his DVDs, and give track lendings and viewings. The user can also monitor the loan status, view and edit history by user or DVD, and generate reports in order to keep tabs on his collection.
