What is DriverMax?

DriverMax is a software program that assists users with updating their system’s drivers. Developed by Innovative Solutions, the software is utilized for Windows computers. Innovative Solutions has partnered with Microsoft to provide a driver update software for the following Windows versions: Windows 2003, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8.

The software is compatible with all Service Packs, and with both 32-bit and 64-bit platforms. There is a free version of the software and a paid version as well. For the free version, the software will prompt the user about available updates and provide a link or links to direct the user to the download site. For the paid version, the driver will automatically download the update.

Once the software is installed, DriverMax will immediately scan the computer to identify drivers installed in the system. Drivers that are still current will be displayed in green, while drivers that need to be updated will be displayed in red.

The software also provides the user with an option to store their updated drivers to a compressed folder.
