What is Draft IT?
DraftIT is a 2D CAD software which provides users with significant features such as creating, drawing, saving and printing personal designs. The applications include snapping and coordinate input options. The system also shows dynamic dimensions assisting users to visually check distances and sizes. DraftIT also gives preference to users to type in sizes directly and also to snap to end points, mid points, intersections, wherein the application describes the type of snap as the user moves the cursor over it.
With the help of this software, dimensioning becomes quite easy. It also displays relative values of dynamic dimensions from the previous point; however, if there is no previous position then no dynamic dimensions are displayed. Users can also detail the increment of the dimensions. Multiple entities can be selected and modified as well. The software has the ability to control the dimension orientation. However, it has certain restrictions, such as the non-availability of some snaps like perpendicular & tangent in some cases.
