DocuSign Professional is a solution for getting electronic signatures for documents. In order to use it, a person selects a document on his computer or on an online storage service such as Dropbox and attaches it to a message through the software. He then adds recipients to the message, whether from his saved contacts or through individual data entry. The program allows the user to choose whether he wants the message sent to all recipients in one go or arrange a sequential order for the distribution. It also allows users to add a message or messages (in case different recipients should get different notes). Both reminder-setting and answer-by-date setting are allowed too.
There are two more DocuSign versions—Individual and Business—and Professional is technically the option occupying the “middle” seat. While it has 10 as the maximum user count (Individual allows only one user), it allows an unlimited number of documents to be sent out as well (like the Business version). It does not, however, have the signer authentication and data validation features of the Business version. It does have Shared Templates, on the other hand, like the Business edition.
File.org aims to be the go-to resource for file type- and related software information. We spend countless hours researching various file formats and software that can open, convert, create or otherwise work with those files.
If you have additional information about which types of files DocuSign Professional can process, please do get in touch - we would love hearing from you.
